Dr. Stan Szubiak

Dr. Stan Szubiak was born in Poland and came to the United States shortly before his 6th birthday (yes, he's fluent in Polish). He grew up in Indiana and has been practicing in the Richmond area since he graduated dental school in 2007. Working with his hands and the wide variety of procedures is what drew him to dentistry. From the work itself, to the interactions with his patients and staff helps to keep things interesting, engaging, and fulfilling.

Dr. Szubiak primarily worked with children during the first eight years of his career, but now enjoys treating people of all ages. To keep up with the ever-changing field of dentistry, he attends study clubs and completes various continuing education courses throughout the year. He is also a member of the American Dental Association and Virginia Dental Association.

Out of the clinic you can find him on nearby hiking trails or with a fishing rod in hand. Favorite hikes being in Glacier National Park and fishing out of the Outer Banks. He also spends much of his free time traveling, following college sports (Go IU!), and being the best 'FUNcle' to his niece and nephew.
